Default New pics of retro and rims

Finally had a clear day to take some pictures of my hid retro and rims.
it took me 4 months to do this retro. did a lotta mistakes including adding halos and improper sealing. On this retro I kept it very basic

my right side ballast went out this morning. ohhh thought i was 100% done. both ballast i got from ebay went out fast. sucks

for some reason, i like the stock look including the amber reflector. On my first tries, i tried to change how it eyebrow looked but it didnt look good. I like the fact that people can tell in i have projectors in there.

yeah, this retro is the hardest project i have yet to do on my tc. but the end result is beautiful. I was driving out tonight with only one hid light and that outperformed all the hologens on the road. I am very pleased with the results.

the ballast that went out were Mata____a. I thought that they were good brands but they go out fast. I am trying to get my hands on some denso ballast.

i initially got them cause u had them as well as others from hidplanet. first one when out after doing a drive through car wash. the second one survived a hand wash but it did rain the night i used it. it was fine when the car was parked that night but it wouldnt come on in the morning. i'm guessing its a moisture issue.
Both ballast were sealed up the a$$ too with both plasti dip and silicone.

what else did u use to seal these bad boys up.

That's for the satalite radio. The salesperson at my dealership said thats the only place they could put it. Funny thing is my friends wife has a tc and she got a sat radio from Circuit City and I told him to tell the installer to put it on the section of the roof that doesnt move but theirs is alot smaller than that one.

thanks,
the mouse thingy is my gps receiver that i am using for my car pc. i have to place it outside to get any reception out of it since my hatch is tinted. it seems out of place but thats the only area i can put it. Unless i place it in the front. I might just end up buying a bluetooth one when this dies out.
