Hey all this is my first post here. Been lurking around these forums for a while now.
So I wanted to buy new Projector housing for my headlights. I hear Sonar is a good brand to go with when I was browsing through here.
I was thinking of these: ebay link
Brand says Sonar, do you think they're legit? Would these be a decent set of projector housing?
Also I am wanting to stick an HID kit in there too. Would anyone have any recommendations of some good HID kits? (Hopefully with a solid warranty)
Thanks for any pointers and tips!
Also to add, I was thinking getting this HID kit from DDM tuning.
I figure for $35 and lifetime warranty wouldn't be a bad deal. I was thinking about getting 6K bulbs. I don't know if I should get 35w or 55w however. Does it make a difference? Do I need the relay harness? (Im guessing that's what the "HID harness" is in their drop down menu for $12.50)

Im running HID's in the fogs and in the lows. I dont have a relay and ive been fine for over a year. On another note, try HIDExtra.com They have great quality and theyll replace anything if it goes bad. [Thats a biased answer though because i have HidExtra]
eh i have those headlights, i like them, cut off is great right out of the box, but i retrofitted a set of FX-R projectors from www.theretrofitsource.com and its even better, i love the way they look, especially with bluebat overlays.

Thanks for all the info everyone. Very helpful~
Since dave has the housing in my OP and they worked for him, think Ill try those out. On the ebay ad it says Hi beam is H1 bulb and the Low beam is 9006 bulb. So I would be buying a 9006 HID kit right? - For the Low beam.
As for the HID kit, Im looking at the full size kit from DDM: This one. (35w, 9006 bulb, 6k)
Plus I want to get the Relay harness: This one.
Does that look correct? (Im very new to this.)

Have you looked at the Eagle Motorsports dual halo/led projector headlights? Half the time I drive around with my yellow foglights on and just the halos light up.. Exotic look. In comparison, the Eagle Eyes have a brighter CCFL halos. Just my two cents. I've got 10k hids behind the projectors for 4 months now, and no issues. I would suggest eyebrows as well, even though I don't sport them... yet.
Oh & on a side note.. Look at the LEDs at the bottom. You have 4 places for them, and only 3 light up.. Looks like one is burnt out, but that's the way they all are... That would definitely bother me.

Are you talking about these eyebrows for the lights? They look pretty cool, but would they mess with the cut off?
Yea I know retrofit > everything. Just dont have the money for it right now. Ill probably go ahead and grab the housing I picked in my OP. Once I have money for it, I will get some retrofits.
Think I found a video of what the projectos look like in my OP: Found here.
Cut off looks pretty good. Looking to get 6k as well.

I ordered the housing from my OP and the DDM tuning 6k kit.
Also ordered some eyelids from Bluebat. So hopefully will have them all installed by friday since they all are local and should be shipped by today.
Now to save for some 18"s...
