How in the world did they get those numbers with an 8 valve motor?

I do have to give them credit on the Solstice GXP though, that thing is going to be a blast. Fast spooling turbo'd 2.0L ecotec, 260 HP/260 ft lbs, and will be set up to handle very nicely from what I gather. And I am sure people will be upping the boost very soon on it Last I heard it will have a mid 5 sec 0-60 time. It also uses direct injection so it still makes for decent fuel economy. Same engine and setup that is used in the new Sky and the 2007 Opel GT which are almost all identical cars. So I do have to say that GM is at least putting out some fun cars. I checked out both the sky and the solstice at the Minneapolis auto show this year and was pretty impressed.

i think it would be successful, b/c people have kids and like the 4 dr, it makes it easier, thats why i went with the xb and not the tc, b/c i want easy access

i agree it has potential to be succesful...but then it could cheapen the fact that it was specifically made for tuners...through the family scene into it and the industry may get turned off....why do you think the solara doesnt get love? even though its the same car as the TC....engine , same sort of shape..I wontbe surprised if we share the same chasis.....

I personally think Scion will not make a "family car"....

thats Toyotas role...>Scion was engenered to appeal to the younger crowd....20' and maybe low 30's....

they tried w/ the corolla but it was too over priced for people straight out of college saem with the celica and matrix....

although it looks ok it is boring...could get a sporty Corolla S instead...and they have SC for it as well.....

Actually, I would not mind seeing a half suicide door like the RX-8 has. That would be something..

Hahaha lots of different reactions here....Pretty cool to read. Lemme remind you guys that I did this just for fun--I don't think Scion should do something like this.

Photoshop can be so cool sometimes.

dont get us wrong it doesnt look half bad...but your trying to sell to the wrong crowd ya know...if you pitched this to mid 30 year old dads....they may see the coolness of it...especially if came at the samelow Scion pure pricing....it could be cheap thrills for the tuner with in...

But like i said it resembles the Pontiac G6

I just threw up alot... vagurly reminds me of a Mazda 6? Camry? and of couse the G6 kinda rolled into one. not a bad photoshop chop up tho, kudos on that. I know several people that would take that for a real picture. but as far as 4door tC ... oh crap, just threw up again.
