Going to a show and showing off some really nice headlights but not fully working is a little weird.
i like them because of the OEM look. I dont like the other ebay ones that look as if they were from a mini cooper or something. a tC is japanese and shouldnt look like a euro. Besides its ok when you add some eyelids to cover the leds. The leds are just ugly and take away from the projectors and halos. I say get them with some polyurethane eyelids. cause if you get vinyl and stick them on, if the leds work, it will shine right through a little. So I need to replace my vinyl with some poly.

here are some pics.

these low beam bulbs are made in germany and are 12v 55w. Im waiting to save a little cash to get some 6000k h7 hids for these from ebay for like 130$. to install you just need to cut into the rubber cap or make one to fit the bulb harness through.

Yea the first start to flicker and then after a day or two they completley go out. I just took mine off. But make sure you dont take them out with the car on you'll blow out a fuse if you do.

Its simple to remove them and replace them with any color you want. Just reach behind and pull on them. And WALLAAAAAAAA !!

Default Projector Headlight Installation

What's up everyone! I have a 06 Tc Special Edition. I just bought a pair of projector headlights with a 8000k hid kit. I haven't received them yet. I was wondering if I would have to remove the front bumber for installation or just unscrew the headlights? Thanks!

yeah. nuts. lol

....after taking the bumper off take the side screw and top 2 screws off, make sure you unplug the wires first. all of them. Then take a screwdriver and pray that thing off where the tab is.

I too have heard that they dont hold HID's, but anything is possible, if i can fit a double din in a Jeep, i can fit HID's in a headlight.

How do you get the bumper off? Is it pretty easy?

yeah, but could be a pain to put back on by yourself. You need to take the screws inside the wheel well out, the screws and plugs under the hood, and the screws beneath the bumper. Just pull it out, but be gentle. tape up the fender where the end of the headlight and space between the fender and bumper is. you dont want to scratch it while taking the bumper off and putting it back on. trust me i know. lol
