Default Newbie to a Scion Tc and this website...

WEll just purchased a 2007 Scion Tc for a little over 26,000. It was well worth it dumpin my money into the aftermarket parts, because it has made a biiig difference cosmetic, and performance wise. Well look at my picture, and tell me what you think.

Welcome... but tell us what you got for 26000 dollars... that's a ton for a tC, even with a lot of the accessories... For that amount, There's a lot you can do.

Yea, well you can go build one if you want and it will show you the prices for each aftermarket price. The performance mods are what killed me, but the ground effects also cost about 1g.

Aftermarket parts, meaning the parts they offer that the dealer can install for you.

you probably would have been better off spending that 8k on aftermarket parts, but congrats on your new car and glad you like it

Oh, I know the prices... just curious how bad the dealer got you... Unfortunate you didn't stop by here first, as we could have saved you a chunk of change.

Thanks.

Just wait... The next few weeks will have some nice additions which will step it up even more.

Here on SL, we have ways of getting you info to save money on accessories and what to watch out for dealer price wise for add-ons... many times, you can save at least 30 percent by buying things after or such.

Another off topic subject but this one is important. This guy I know wants to race my Tc with his Acura RSX for 1g and its a tuner car. What does everyone think? I've been told rsx's are no problem for the Tc.

8.3 0-60 for base rsx, 7.8 for tC... depends on the driver and what he has added, he could easily upgrade and take you

I'd never race for cash, and keep it at the track... it's fair there, not to mention safe.

I was told by the dealer 0-60 in 7 seconds flat. I guess they will say pretty much anything to sell a car. :\

Nice ride, but dang 26,000 is alot of money, especially considering that doesnt include a supercharger. Enjoy the ride and keep modding it.
