Nics on Paint
I notice in the front on my hood a couple of nics that look like the came from small rocks or something... it took little pieces of paint out. Does anybody know of a quick fix for something like this like touch up paint and what color. I've never used touch up paint, I heard it doesn't look that great...
It happens, man. We have soft paint.
If they're through the paint, you will have to use touch-up paint.
Wash your car, then apply the touch-up paint with a toothpick, not the brush they include in the canister. The brush is junk.
Keeping a good coat of wax onthe car will cut down on rock chips from daily driving, but there will be more. Our cars have soft paint.
Best thing you can do is keep on top of the chips before they really become noticable in number.
BTW, your dealership will have an exact paint match for your car. I haven't seen most of the tC colors at the local auto parts stores yet.
