what is retrofit?

can i retrofit with HIDs? or is that totally something different?

your supposed to retrofit for HID's . but you dont have to... when you retrofit is when you have to bake the lights and add projector stuff, in them .. there is a few DIY's for it.

you have an o8 or an 09? if you do i dont think you need to, for the sole reason that you already have a good cut off. so you dont need to retrofit them.

 

you don't have to unless you want to put in some angel eyes (ccfl rings), clear the corners, etc.....people do retrofits on the '07 and older headlights and put in TSX/S2000/etc. projectors and angel eyes....I haven't seen anyone baking open the '08s & above tho.

I don't think there are any ccfl rings available for the '08 & above tC headlights (yet).

you can always use your own creativity to put angel eyes on an 08-09 headlight. basically thats what retrofitting is. you can get the ccfl ring kit from websites usually for around 130-150$ but the install is up to you.
