How much lighter are they than stock?

Hood ~ 10-15 lbs
Hatch ~ 40 lbs
Fenders ?

Damn that stuff adds up quick though. About $1500 worth of weight reduction if someone went through with it all.

You should be able to cut 5-10 lbs. The stock ones are pretty light too.

Which is it? Are these OEM, or aftermarket? If they are aftermarket, they can't be OEM, and if they are OEM why isn't Scion selling them. Your confuseing me!

I think what he means by OEM is, they are replicas of the OEM ones, without any vents etc..., I'm sure if they had vents, they would be called: after market carbon fiber vented fenders, I could be wrong thou.

those are pretty cool but even if you spent $1500 dollars on the hood, hatch and fenders I bet you wouldn't even drop 1/10 off your 1/4 mile. General rule is for every 100 lbs. you lose you gain 1/10. $1500 is an awful lot of cash to drop just to look cool. Just my opinion though.

you are not wrong, OE when talking about carbon parts means it is just like the OE counterpart, without vents. Should actually say "OE style". Scion does not have any OE carbon parts, all carbon parts you see on this forum from aftermarket shops is just that: aftermarket. Hope that helps clear up the matter.

I too would like to know how good they fit. These fenders would go great on our project tC, with the full carbon hood, front, fender arcs, sides and rear it already has. I would need to get these before the car goes in for custom paint.

Post pics installed!

Ok! The order is for a pair.
LOL, Oem just means OEM style...
Basic...The way your fenders look now...Then picture them lighter, stronger, and having the Carbon Fiber look.

Hope I answered most questions. If not just p.m. me!
