Default OEM Fog lights

Where is the cheapest place to buy the OEM fog lights for 05 tc. I have been offered a few used pairs, but every time I get the pics they look all scratched up or sandblasted.
cheapest I found was $324.00 which I think it just crazy.
Thanks, jjp

I don't know how set you are on the OEM ones but you can get a set of the APT fogs for about $110-$125 and they work good. I have the OEM ones on my wifes car and the APT ones on mine and the difference if very little. but the price is 1/3.

Default OEM fog

I had a pair of aftermarket and to change the bulb was a royal pain. I want the center grill lights, but don't like the h3 bulbs. Only the factory has the 9006 bulbs and they are easly to change. Plus I don't like the way the side vent fogs are sent back in the vents. They should be flush and should have a correct beam pattern, which most aftermarket don't.

Just because they light up the road doesn't mean they are correct. I use mine strickly for fog and bad weather and always use yellow bulbs. Will keep my eye out for a pair on ebay.

My biggest pet peave is when people add hid to fogs and feel the need to have them on all the time. If you are that blind at night, maybe you shouldn't be on the road.

AMEN to the last part, and I have my windows factory tinted. I didn't like the vent fogs overall function after awhile, they were lousy. So actually... I'm looking into retro-fitting some other VERY tiny OEM projectors BEHIND the plastic lens (vs the VRD glass lens) and it should help with more foreground lighting as well as width to the sides ;)

HIDs in foglights are veryfunctional and well worth the money. I used to drive in the fog/snow and the 3000k kit helped a lot!

Default Replacing bulb for OEM fog lights

I recently had OEM fog lights installed (done professionally, not by me) and one of the bulbs has already gone out. I've been doing research and I'm finding that the only way to replace the bulb is to: 1)go through the wheel well, 2)remove the splash guard, or 3)remove the entire bumber. Are these the only ways to replace an OEM bulb.

This post may be a little late, but here is a pic of the fog lights

How bad do you want the OEM ones? ive been looking at getting rid of my set of OEM ones and going to get APT fogs from Meng just cause they look so amazing, but ill need to get rid of my OEM lip too.

After getting my HID kit i really havent had a need for my Fogs, but i guess they do help but id prefer them in a more yellow color, i just have the same bulbs that ive had since i got them installed by toyota back in 2010

did you want OEM style ones? or the super awesome, super cool looking VRDS/APT fogs that you can get at meng?

OEM: well OEM style, but its just the design, you can get a toyota pair from someplace like TRDsparks.

APT/VRD

Now, they dont come in yellow, but if you contact bluebatmobile, and let him know what style foglights you have, you can get some yellow overlays, and if you've ever put on a screen protector on a mobile device you can put an overlay on, its much easier, plus there are tutorials on how to do it just go search up "Bluebatmobile eyelid install" and you'll figure it all out.

OR, did you mean you just wanted yellow lights but have the clear housing? if you get the APT fogs, you can ask for yellow 3000k bulbs to be shipped with the kit, and im sure you could just buy yellow bulbs too for the OEM style one, but the APTs come with it all for under 200$ with shipping included.

Hoped this helped

I have the OEM fog lights, and after install no desire to purchase HID's. They are 9006 bulbs, in a reflective housing, so you're essentially installing headlights, in the lower grill.
