Default OEM Scion Exterior Mirror Question

Hey everyone. so apparently last nite this jerk decides to cut me off..and hits into me. i was ok no injuries. i pulled over and saw almost no damage. the clear turn signal indicator is a little scratched. can it be buffed out? the mirror has a small little dent/chip/scratch can this be buffed or touched up ?

i dont even know if i should send a bill to the guy.

he almost did kill me.

thanks!

Try some Plastic Scratch Remover first. The chip/dent can't be repaired, but the scratch can. If it doesn't work, you'll have to replace the entire mirror, they don't sell the cover/turn signal separately.

wow thats alot of coin. I see the mirror still works and it doesnt move too much or too littel out of focus when I hit a bump so I think the mirror is okay. I know both wobble normally before the accident. I think its that scratch on the indicator and small scratch on side of mirror and thats it.

i have had worse things like steel garages close on the hood and they didnt pay so this should be okay if i have to take it on the chin.

i dont want to but what can i say ?

Contact TRDSparks.com, they'll probably have a replacement mirror cheaper than that.

i have an extra driver side mirror. its in the classifieds. $145.00 SHIPPED and color matched to your paint code by a professional painter in a toyota paint booth. Just throwing it out there if that was an option for you.

jamaican just saw your pm. the mirror works and doesnt move on potholes, the indicator works. i gues i am just shook up as to what could have happened..the scratches are surface,a nd completley minor. the plastic indicator is scratched but you can barely see this...
