killa or Ulyes did you get the double layer or just single? you have HID's?

 

mine are double layered. black underneath, silver on top. that way no light shines through them. and yes i have 6k hids on mine.

Yes, non black cars should get double layer if you dont want light to filter through overlay;).

got my yellow VRD overlays today and just finished slappin em on...i love em already!! +1 for BlueBat...great service and great vinyls!!

 

^nice, did the light output change for the fogs and do they light up abit more yellow than before?

 

i was looking at em last night when it got dark and to me, the light output was virtually unchanged but it did seem to be slightly more yellow

 

Personally I would also slap on of his smoked fog overlays. That's what I had and I loved it. Looking good either way!

It didn't seem to have any negative affects when I had it. To be fair though I didn't even mount mine until the overlays were on. But they seemed just as bright as any other set. I believe I went with a 6/10 tint..I don't really remember.

I also had HID's in my headlights so my fog lights got a little over shadowed by my regular headlights anyway.

Hey Bat! What would you call that yellow that testa has on his VRD's?

That's a sick color, and I think I'd almost like that type of yellow than the dark urine yellow I have on my oem style fogs now. I've been sporting my tint for a year now and the foglights have gotten so hot they've burnt the vinyl a bit brown in some spots...

I had the VRD fog overlays for 2+ years on my car and they showed virtually no wear; even after going through a couple Chicago winters and summers. Great product quality!
