Heres my brothers eyelids on his 1.0

I got an overlay for the top half of my 08 taillight to cover up that chrome stuff but my install was less than stellar on the first taillight, got a little crease in it. But did much better on the second taillight.

Heres a cell phone picture of my car. I have third brake light and the top 1/3 of the taillights (the chrome part) tinted. Happy with the results. The TBL overlay is probably 3 or 4 years old now and still sticking strong.

Also did you cut your OEM lip so that the VRD's fit best?

 

I have a question about the taillight film. Is it already preshaped (or "preshrunk") or does it still need to be applied with a heatgun?

 

Hey bluebat ive gotten a few items from you before and they are all great but i was wondering if i could get a driver side eyelid for my tC. The other side is great but the driver side for some reason has a bad case of bubbles and im afraid to take my heat gun to it because i dont want it to tear....any suggestions or should i just get another?

 

pop the bubbles with a needle. There is moisture or air trapped underneath.

Yeah I might need a new set before I go off to college there are just was to many bubbles in that drivers side eyelid :/
