Still trying to source a used OEM SW front lip. If I can't find one by the end of July I'll order new and paint it.

But heres a few pictures. Some may recognize the rear end.

Can you buy just the front lip new? Its near impossible to find them used. And I feel like if I get the 5A front lip I should get the RS1 rear. The gasket really throws it off for me.

Also I have some cracks that the OEM lip would cover... hmm I guess I do have time to decide/fix the front bumper.

 

nah its hard to find but if you can go for it lol. i wouldnt pair anything with the RS1 rear lip, im not a fan of it. even though i do own the CF one lol

but i love the lip man, just find the oem front gfx thats all

 

Yeah if I have the opportunity to get the 5A I will. I really love the kit man it makes the car look complete. The side skirts look soooo good. I just dont like the gaskets on a SW. Stands out to much IMO

the gaskets?? the weather stripping? its grey, it doesnt look too bad bro i dont notice it. what happened to cory's front lip? why didnt you get that too?

 

Meh its not to obvious I guess. We traded bumpers, skirts, and my front bumper has those cracks so he didn't want to put that on his car. Seriously I dont think hes ever waxed his car either lol. It may be just me but it took me 3hrs of clay barring and waxing to get the shine back.

But I garage my car and wax it probably 5-6 times a month lol so it may be an unfair comparison.

Lol seriously same thought process as me! I was thinking that to. I can get the bbist c/f front lip for like $300ish delivered. But I'm not sure about how it would look? It would look good in contrast to the c/f hatch but what about the rest of the kit?

Look closely at the 3rd picture. The rear bumper is STILL a little brownish compared to the rest of the car. I spent so much time clay barring and its still not done. :-(

 

i dont think it would look bad to be honest. lots of people do just a cf front lip and not the rest of the lip kit (me being one of them till i install the rear and sides) it would look good and then you dont have to worry about painting them. then later on down the road if it gets dinged up or you get tired of it you can paint it

 

Thats true. And the OEM kit really looks like it belongs on the car. Alot of people don't even notice the change. I'd like to see a pic of a SW with a kit and c/f front lip... anyone out there have this?
