i was gonna buy a black tc when i went to get mine. the salesman took me inside to start paperwork and i saw a sizzling crimson on the showroom floor.... needless to say i drove out of the showroom with the sizzling crimson haha one of the best colors a tc comes in

 

I am very fond of the sizzlin crimson color, i love how light reflects off of it...and just for the fact that there are not that many (that I see).....saw the second one in my town for the first time yesterday...

 

I like that the color kinda morphs in the sun compared to the shade.It is an easy color to wax up too.My Yaris is BSP and it is a pain to keep clean and shiney for longer than a few days.

I have a photo shoot at a team BBQ on the 7th so I will take lots of pictures of the car and post them up......it is amazing how much it has changed since it was new.still got to decide on a lip kit and get the Clazzios 5AD seat covers,then there is a CF project for the interior panels.Stereo will finally be finished a year after starting by March,just have the false floor left to go in the back and remount everything under the plexi window.

 

Hmmm not alot of dressed up SCM's =(..anyways! let me know what yall think of my 08 SCM tC!!! =)

 

Looking good,gotta be tough to keep car clean in Alaska.I just purchased the Five Axis kit and should have it on by summer,I'll be the first with SCM with it,will be posting up pictures of it on when it is painted and on.

im planning on saving up for the JP Lip kit, the good thing about up here is that there aren't a lot of scion enthusiasts ;) mainly little honda people haha

 

BZinn1, looking forward to seeing your SCM with the 5axis lip kit. i'm considering getting that kit for my BCP sometime in the near future so your car will probably be the closest thing to BCP to reference.

 

Well I have this color and I love my car!

 

The kit is gonna make a big differance in the look of the car.I got it for $450 the sides and back are still new in the bags,the front lip was cracked ,but I can repair it for about $80 in materials,so I got a great deal on it.

A buddy is picking up the kit for me this weekend and bringing it up,very excited,we also on the 7th were at a car show and Troy Sumitomo signed our Kami hood for us,very cool,as it also has Ken Gushi's auto on it,next is to work on RAdo auto and Leslie's auto and Tanner Foust auto.

Also this summer will be gettign the Five axis Clazzios but with a twist,gettign something special done to them......gonna be cool.

 

i honestly think the SCM and the BCP are completely different

I just can't get over the fact that the people with our color car are so far and so few between I think our color freakin rocks!

 

yeah i get alot of compliments on my color..alot of the older people at car shows w/muscle cars ask me if they can take down the color code to get their rides painted my color haha..someone thought i had it custom painted because of how nice it looked in the sun =)

 

Every outdoor show we goto I have at least 1 person ask if it is custom color.......it is weird though how few people buy this color,I think a lot got turned off by the other BCP and think it is the same color.

I am now $100 closer to affording paint for 5AD kit.......lol.......I hate saving.

 

 

 

I hate to say it but i'm no longer SCM cult no more they did end up totalling my car in febuary. gosh I miss my car lol

just bought an rs4 front lip for my car yeayuh!
