What do you guys think of the rim? I'm thinking of getting it and spraying painting the dark grey with black and putting them on my BSP.

i like hiros. i thought of putting them on my car a few times. i suggest getting them professionally sprayed though.

There was a two-tone tC posted a few weeks ago but the images aren't there anymore but that's where I found out the name of the rims. What's the difference between powdercoated and sprayed? I want the same gloss and finish as it originally was, but just in black

those are super hot.... i like wheels that look like that. they kinda remind me of the Kazeras on TireRack that look nice.

Those would look absolutely siiiiick!!! Especially if you go with the 10.5 on the back tires, I know the tC is front wheel drive but who cares it would look sick. Those are the rims that I would get if I wasn't broke as a joke. I've always thought that axis was #1. Instead I think painting the stock rims is my best alternative. So lets revisit the question of spray paint vs. powdercoat. What's the advantage of the powdercoat? It seems expensive, and if I were to spray paint I would be able to do it my self, possibly match with BSP paint from scion. There are websites that sell touch up paint in a spray can. Please respond.

By the way I would only paint the spokes. Kinda like this guy's tC.

Yea, I saw that tC and I'm planning to do the same (getting the spokes colored, not the edge) but I don't like dual 5-spoke rims. Don't get me wrong, I like the oem rims that come with the tC but I prefer to be different from the tCs with older drivers As for the technical specs, what's the difference between professionally sprayed and powdercoated?

I've got the Anthrocite 19' Axis Hiros on my Flint Mica tC. It's sick, I love em. I'll try to get some pics of it for you later tonight or tomorrow. I haven't lowered it yet, will look much better once I do that. Still debating on using springs or just gettin coilovers.

What do you mean by happy? I've seen tCs with the TRD springs and 18" rims and they look nice plus it doesn't look retarded (1.25" drop compared to other springs that make the tires look like they're rubbing against the top wall)

I'm runnin 225/35/19 Falken Azenis ST115's on mine. I called Axis directly, he said if you go with the 235/35 you'll notice some fender rub when you lower it. The 225/35's stretch out to the 8.5 rims, allowing for room to lower. I'm showing 2 1/4" of clearence. I will let you know when I do lower it.

Yes yes....19 feet. really drops my fuel effeciency down, but its all good. only takes one rotation to get from home to work. btw my license plate reads BIG fT
