Default Overlay or Nightshade?

So I'm looking to do my tails pretty soon, but I want it the way that I've seen a couple people here do it and that's leave the brake lights white and everything else blacked out, I really like the looks of that, I was wondering if that was a overlay made by BlueBat or it was nightshade with that part taped off. Thanks and i was wondering if it was possible to do the amber headlight corners with nightshade instead of the overlays

well you cant leave that portion white unless you have the TYC's i hope you know that

second thing, if you know how paint with niteshades, than i HIGLY suggest that because they look 212121443e1212421 times better than overlays, but if you dont know how to paint then the overlays look 312213e43423235 times bettter...

get what im saying, its all on the user and there abilities

but niteshades can be used for everything

personally i would do overlays. i suggest bluebatmobile. i got a lot of stuff from him its very easy install. but i would never mess around with nightshades because im a total screw up when it comes to that kinda stuff. and i dont have th patience for it. but hey if youd like the professional look id think i go with nightshades. i think i saw someone here that had part of his tail lights tinted by a shop.

BEST OPTION.

http://www.jonstintedtails.com

He'll professionally spray them to whichever darkness you wish, and the results will be better than both nightshades AND overlays... which you can see as overlays really easily.

ummm tim, i thikn it was actually JONSTINTEDTAILS.COM

not toms, haha

but bat doesnt offer the overlay of what he is talking about... and i think if you have the money i would get the professionally dont by JTT becase they will come out excellent, and they use a spray gun, not a spray can.. and they use automotive clear coat which will last forever

LoL... THAT's What I SAID! LoL

Just woke up.... not on top of my game!

But YES... He uses the real deal... not the generic stuff, and that makes a killer difference...

Just wait.... I'll show you what a difference proffessional paint is... when my parts come back from the painter today!

85 + Shipping I believe.... email him for a quote and ask for what you want... He'll get back to you... maybe be more for custom stuff.

Spraying is better. Get the jdm smoke spray, just spray on and that's it.

cause some of us have had some issues with the vinyl including me.
Depends on if youve had expericene with vinyl before if not I wouldnt not recommend it. To me VHT was easy to do. Just depends on you I guess.
You can read here some of our comments.... https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...226&highlight=

AND im NOT saying anything is wrong with the vinyl...just if your capable of putting it on yourself.....

i believe its showing nightshades but id go with bluebatmobile. i mean if you mess up a overlay itll cost you like what? 10, 15 dollars? but then if you use nightshades but then mess up.. or doesnt come the way you want it to.. how much would it cost to replace a tail light? 75+ i guessing?

Most of you know I'm really good at giving discounts on extra pieces just in case you mess up
