So Im thinking of buying the angel eye kit from oznium.com, mainly to anger my friends who drive bmws, but i have a few questions first.
1) Can I extend the white wires coming from the ring that plug into the transformer?
2) If not, would it be ok to buy two spare transformers and have one ring plugged into each transformer?
Reason: I want the rings around the lows and the rings around the highs to turn on seperately, and I dont think the wires are long enough to run from one headlight to the other.
Any other suggestions would be much appreciated

 

i know for a fact that you cannot extend the white wires, however, you can buy 2 more transformers and use them that way. make sure that you make sure that they are water tight. oznium says that they are water proof but they really are not.

Because i was gonna have one transformer power the rings on the high beams and the other transformer power the rings on the low beams, so they could turn on separately. High beams with parking lights; low beams with dome lights.

yea i think u have to buy separate transformers for the rings...

u don't want to extend the white wires and have one of your 'eyes' dimmer than the other...i bet that won't look too kool

 

 

so i installed mine and my big rings are dim and pink. they are supposed to be white. does anyone know why this could happen? my little rings are perfect.

 

For a while my low beam passenger side wasn't bright, it turned out to be a transformer issue.

 

Does anyone know the Kelvin rating for Oznium's white rings?

 

well i have 8000k HID's and these are a little bit more white....im saying they'd match perfectly with 6000k if thats even what you are talkin about

 

i really dont think they have a kelvin rating. but they dont even match on the BMW's. so. there ya go.

 

try checking ur connection to the transformers...i had that problem too...a little wiggle did the trick for me...

 

How long the they last for is the question? It's a pain having them installed.

 

they last a really really long time. theyll probably outlive all the other bulbs on your car. unless youre a cab driver at nights, then maybe only 6 years instead of 20.
