I bought eyelids on ebay and they sucked. peeled off and they were soft. probably would chip easy. So I ripped them off and and had my paint shop paint the headlighst in the same fashion. I also had them paint the mirror turn signals. Got rid of the pumkin eye look and trimmed it down to just a strip similar to mercedes benz. Now I can put on the 3M protection on the headlamps. It will never chip.

that guy on ebay used some of my pics for his auctions, really ____ed me off! My eyelids are $15 shipped, he charges $7 for shipping! and from what I've heard, his stuff doesn't even fit right, and I hear the color is off on some kits as well. I'm in the process of selling on ebay, but you'll know it's me, I'll have Bluebatmobile Vinyl Overlays as the headling.

Speaking of eBay... you should look into Paypal.
I'll probably be looking for some eyelids from you later, Bat. Especially for $15. Question though - are the color matched? I see the red in the gallery, if I ordered a set for my SSM, would I get the same silver? Or are they really close?

contact ebay with your website info and maybe some things to show how long you've been in the business and i'm sure they'll pull his listings

Painting the headlights directly is a bad idea. I did this onmy 99 Mercury Cougar when i first got it and it looked great but started chipping shortly after. Anytime you have an exposed edge of paint it will be proned to chipping. I'd definately stay away from the pressure washer at the car wash as well.
I ended up buying new OEM headlights and then painted them on the inside.
