Default Paint protection

Ok so I want to see your guys/gals opinions on this product:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

I asked the company why they were so cheap compared to toyota wanting like I think a thousand dollars and I also asked for some customer reviews and this is what they responded with:

At our shop, we charge $400.00 installed. What we are selling is 4 mil. thick, as opposed to the dealerships which is 8 mil. I have had the 4 mil. on my vehicle for almost 2 years and still looks great. For an inexperienced installer the 8 mil. would be almost impossible to install. The 4 mil. is much easier to work with for a do it your self installation, while still offering great protection. Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Casey

So what do you people think is this a worthy poduct or what? I only have 3500 miles on my car and would like to avoid anymore rock dings. Also with my car being Flint Mica will I still be able to see the metallic flake as much? thanks everyone

I dont know... it seems a bit too cheap for me. I probably wouldn't risk it and trust it to work too well.

Well... I actually just purchased this same item a couple days ago, still waiting on it to come in the mail. I say go for it, I mean I think that it is worth it being only around 40 w/ shipping compared to anyone else you talk to. It may be a little while til I get around to getting it on once I get it. I still havent decided if I will try the install myself or try and get my local tint shop to see if they can do it. But the product is def worth it if you can get it installed cheap or can DIY.

you mean that they offer the product for 55 plus the price of install or they will install the product you already have for that price?
