I wanted some eyelids for my aftermarket headlights but I dont want the ones that you stick on so I was wondering if you could just paint on some eye lids? has it already been done ? I think if done right would look good

I would imagine that if you used a paint adhesive to make the paint stick better to that plastic, it could be done.

Just tape off the area you want and have at it.

The vinyl ones will look nice as long as you do it right. I've seen really nice ones where I thought that they were actually painted on. It's really a matter of experience.

If you have a lot of experience with painting, I'd go with the paint. If not vinyl is probably a better way as it won't mess up your headlights if you screw up.

I'll be getting mine done next week, shops only charging 20 per headlight. I had the vinyl on once, and looked good for a couple years but it starts to get scratched and wear down pretty bad.

Hey Bluebat I had a question. I am going to order these vinyl eyelids soon but on of my head light is really dirty. Its almost yellow and it looks scratched up. Should I get it cleaned up first? And if I do will your merchandise stick well on the lenses after its been cleaned with the chemicals?
