most people take it off and reapply it.
there's a substantial amount of masking and work to paint the emblem while it's still on the car..
it'd be idiotic for someone to do that..

That's what I would think due to how it's not flush, but inset into the mounting area. Oh well, maybe I'll attempt to take it off.

I did the tC one the first week I had it and that was a synch. It's just that the Scion emblem is not flush mounted and I don't want to chip the paint trying to fit something underneath of it. I'll use the hair dryer thing like I did with the tC emblem and see how it goes. Just making it flat black with a clear coat
