If i were to spray paint a headlight bulb what would happen? Will it blow up in the housing? Just a question.
By the way i already painted it but havn't put it in.
And i used Tamaya paint, the one for little model cars.

PhillipsLockhart makes H4 bulb covers for motorcycles, which will fit xA and xB bulbs, but I dunno about the tC's 9006's. . . they're a glass cover that goes over the bulb, and they come in blue, yellow, and rainbow.

yeah. . . the headlights get drowned out. I tried the covers on my 9005 fog light bulbs, which are very similar to the 9006 headlamps you tC's have. . . and they fit! They are cheap, built well, and look good. . . but there was one problem. . . there was no way to squeeze the cover into the headlight housing. . . it was just slightly too small. I have no idea if the headlight housing on the tC is smaller or larger or exactly the same, but that's what happened to me. Keep in mind that these are built for H4 bulbs. You can find them at most any motorcycle speed shop (which will order them for you), or you can get them from where I got them. . .

or ebay. . . there is a seller who offers them every so often. And just let him know via email which color you want. But my gut feeling is that they will not fit the tC.

Tamiya Color Acrylic Paint
Tamiya Acrylic Paints are made from water-soluble acrylic resins and are excellent for either brush or spray painting. These paints can be used on styrol resins, styrofoam, wood, plus all of the common model plastics.
I went to the website thats what it is made of.. Dunno

It will just burn off, for them to explode the temperature would have to be drastically different on one part of the bulb from another. Run your wire through the bottom of a box and not into the housing, plug in a bulb and have fun. Just keep an extinguisher nearby just in case....I will guess after about a minute it will start smoking as the paint burns off. Those things get very hot.
