Default paintless dent removal. (it happened again....pics at end)

i get to my car a couple days ago and the ******** next to me dinged the $#!+ out of my driver side, just behind my door. It was a 6" long ding at least and was all a saw every time i was about to get in the car. The fix was $150.00, but it was absolutely flawless. I was amazed; I watched him massage the 6" long ding out of the side and it is completely gone. No hint of a ding.

Best $150.00 I spent on the car because the ding would have nagged me to death.

I had 20+ dents smoothed out of my past car, including a shopping-cart wound about 12" high and a good 2" deep. $250 for every dent on the car, and no one could beleive the job had been done without repaint. That guy was a magician.

I know all about paintless dent removal. When I was at work one day (2 days after getting my car) I noticed a dent the size of a fist on my passanger side front corner. I was so ____ed off, I took it to a local shop and paid $75.00 to have it removed. From the naked eye you could never tell it was there, even if i point out where is was.

I wish you guys would post pix. Even if we can't see anything. I don't especially trust dealers to post real pix...

awesome results. truly amazing. worth the drive from pasadena if you have dings.

he also offers a two week training program to learn the "trade"....when i went there i inquired about it. he said basically, "i kind of chase people away because the two week class is around $10,000.00 because of the personal commitment to training. <cough>. he says it will then be about three years till you are any good.

had i known the fix would be "perfect", i would have documented it with photos. people are amazed because the ding was so noticable before the fix.

Thanks a lot SC40! I have a few days off this week, so I think I will call them and take a drive down.
I'm excited - one damn ding and it's killing me - the tC is only three months old!

thanks again,
Scott

i normally would consider $150.00 an extravagant spend for a "ding" but the tC has such an unbroken body line it was all i could see on the car. i know it's just me but a hundred fifty bux to make it new was worth it.

this guy knows his ch!t. i was awe struck.

watch him work and you will be as well.

gl, let me know

I found this when i getting my lasder jammer put in. I took most of it out with a toilet plunger and vaseline. Will PDR work on the rest of this?

yes but you may have lessened the chance of that. from what i understand as a dent "compacts" paint it can be rolled out without a crack...."expanded" paint as in a dent pushed out (by a freakin' plunger) may crack....once the paint cracks, so much for "paintless dent removal" pdr requires an innie not an outie.

SC40 - the worst part was that I DID IT MYSELF!!!
I knocked the door into my river-rock driveway wall.
The worst worst part? I have a piece of soft foam to put behind the door and when I pulled it out to close the door, my knee smacked the door handle and knocked it into the wall!!!

I will be sure to take before and after pix to post here.

And $150 is not too much to fix this...I've been dreaming about it!
