don't misunderstand me. i am just repeating what i was told. when a "dent" occurs it goes "inward" and compacts the paint as opposed to an outward bulge which "spreads" the paint.

in pdr, a "dent" can be fixed much easier than a "bulge"; because a bulge cracks the paint more easily. if one attempts a repair using a suction, etc., they can create a situation where a pdr is more difficult...that's all.

Drumroll...

OK, Mark from Beach Cities came to my office today and did the job. $125.
Dent is gone! It's 99% back to normal - there's a tiny tiny chip from the ding, but that's not their fault.
I will post pix as soon as I can.

If you have dings, you should check these guys out.

I highly recommend them.

Thanks a ton SC40! You da man

do you think they could fix this?

i've had it since 3 weeks after i got the car sucks someone hit it either with a door or something because when i first saw it i thought it was bird crap then when i wipped it, it was paint and then i saw the dent .

It sorta comes out on the top of the dent like bulging out.. i got quoted around 800 for repainting the whole side of the car to make it blend and removing the door handle since there scratches on the door handle.. etc..

They can fix those. AFAIK, they don't do paint work, but the dents, yes.
I'm impressed. Good guys too.
Some dents can't be fixed - those close to edges, from what I understand - anything closer than 1.5 inches to some edges.
Send them pix, they will tell you and give an estimate.

info@beachcitiespdr.com

Tell 'em Scott sent you...

Pix coming...

they can't fix things tthat are on creases OR edge.
their tools can't reach the edge, and on creases, it will
leave a mark.
if you want it to look "less" nsaty, they can help.
but if you fall under one of those things i mentioned, it cannot be a 100% recovery

^^^ Actually, if you go to some of these websites, they do claim they can do creases...
I'm sure it's not as pretty, but I'm sure I remember them stating that...
