I have a school parking sticker that I need to put on my rear window. When I go to remove the sticker, will it damage my window tint at all?

it could...why not just use some low adhesion double stick tape or something to attach it from the inside?

 

you can put the permit in the front windshield?

 

I just stuck mine to a cd cover and threw it on my dash. You can give that a shot.

 

ya man put it in the front window, thats what i do at my school.

and b4 i did that, i hole punched holes on both sided of the sticker and had suction cups with hooks on my rear windshield.

yeah, i wish i did something like that, instead i have a bunch of nasty glue residue on the lower front driverside corner of my windshield from the parking permit i used in florida.

 

eww i hate residue,

i just park throw my sticker on my dash

then when i leave put it in the glove box

stay away from residue protect your self

 

GOO GONE should get rid of that residue.

 

Is the sticky part for the inside or outside of the car? My tint was applied to the inside of the car, and my parking sticker is supposed to go on the outside.

my tint is on the inside aswell, but i never have taken off the back side of my sticker, i just put it on the dash so the security can see it

 

why would you put it ont he outside, it can get stolen there, sounds kind dumb...

 

Parking stickers on the outside? Never heard of that. At my current school and previous schools, the sticker is supposed to go on the inside of the windshield. That means it has to go on the dash, because sticker + window tint = big no no.

On the bumper? What kind of wack áss school is that? There is no way I would put a sticker on my bumper.

 

i know man, thats why i put it on my dash, then when i leave i put it away, it's the smart thing to do, im not putting it on my damn paint, hahah the school doesnt sponsor me hahaha

 

if you have that residue left on the windsheild you can always get a razor and it takes it right off....just make sure you have the edge facing the windshield so it doesn't give you a hard time taking it off

 

Our stickers get applied on the inside of the rear window.

In the state of CT, if you have tinted windows you are legally obligated to NOT affix them on the tinted windows. However, this wasn't enought to suede the University Police to waive my ticket they gave me for wrong placement.

SOLUTION
Grab a ziplock bag and cut it to the shape of the sticker. Apply it to the bag. Take some painters tape and tape it to the inside of the window.

This applies to the people who have to affix the windows on the inside. This is because you cannot read the sticker without the backing being taken off etc.

 

My suggestion is getting a "do not disturb" door **** hanger, cut it a lil bit, and then stick your parking sticker to it, and hang it from your rear view mirror.

 

my school has the ones that hang from the rear view mirror i'd try the sicker on the dash idea
