Hey im a complete retard when it comes to photoshop and i was wondering if someone wouldnt mind doing me a favor . I was wanting to paint my front grills silver trim a red color much like how the new GTI VW looks heres link http://www.vw.com/gti/photos_ext.html

i don't think you could even paint that part.

You would somehow have to seperate it from the grill (which I don't remember is even possible). Then sand it down so there is something that the paint would be able to grab on to....lastly, if there is any type of flex in that trim, the paint would crack unless you use special primer/paint....

 

ergghh wow well thanks for the photoshop but im gonna have to agree that it doesnt look so hot lol. Atleast it was photoshopped before i did it!! Man i would have regreted that!! Looks so much better on that VW GTI Thanks again eujin
