Default piaa 9006 able to take the place of the stock 9005 bulbs in headlight

hi everyone..iam new here..i just bought a beautiful azure pearl 08 tc that i love...i am looking for an answer to my question about changing the headlight bulb from 9005 to 9006.. I had a camry which i put the piaa 9006 on and kept them after i got new HIDS...i just remembered i had the bulbs in my closet and was wondering if i can switch the bulbs with no problem???????

can i ask why? 9006 is a "low beam" bulb which means it has the shield/coating/cover thing on the end of it while 9005is for high beams so it doesnt have the cover on the end. i think the connectors are just slightly different anyways

You need a Dremel to shave off some parts of the base and the tab inside the connector.

9005 bulbs are brighter (more lumens) than 9006 so it might end up being dimmer.

I have done it before, all you gotta do is shave off the tabs. just like said above post ^^
