Default PIAA Xtreme White Plus

has anyone had an experience with these bulbs??? they seem to be the best option for non-HID bulbs....but as i heard silverstars burn in a couple months and luminics fry your harnesses, so ahs anybody had any experiences with Xtreme White Plus bulbs from PIAA?

I have the PIAA Xtremes for the high beams, low beams, and turn signals and they're great. Had them for about a year now and they were easy to pop in, haven't given me any grief, and look great. PIAA is a solid company so you can't go wrong.

i've had my piaa xtreme whites in 9006 and 9005 for both highs and lows almost since i've had the car and that was back in 04. personally i'm not a fan of luminics or silverstars but that's just me. to me a bulb lasting only 2 years is crap, any bulb should last AT LEAST 5 years otherwise it's not worth spending the money on them, which is why i went with the piaas. if you need to replace them every 2 years you're wasting a lot of money.

your PIAA xtreme white bulbs won't last 5 years.
I have one, and it should last a year. lasting 2 years is pretty good but it depends how often you drive at night.
I used about 9 months or so, it is still pretty good
it is white and bright
but i kinda regret it, if i spend a bit more, i can get HIDs.
so i am thinking about getting HIDs now

Hmm...
It depends how often u drive at night
cuz i head that their estimated life is a bit more than a year
but its good to hear that it lasted that long with PIAA

one reason why bulbs burn out is from contact with your fingers.

try using gloves when ur handling bulbs. The grease from fingers stays on the bulb and eventually wears out the glass. just my .02

why don't you just get the oem HID kit with rebased 9006. I got a set from HIDEXPERT.COM and it's great.
