I am replacing my m-power bumper with an M3 from Viniati. What should I do with the upper grille? Should I do an OEM grill from 05-07 or 08+? Or should I go with some custom figure grilles top and bottom? Or a combination of both? Maybe neither? Blacked out or blinged out? Opinions welcomed.

i have those grills in the 2nd pic... it's a fig type grill...

 

I was the originator of the fig grill for the middle picture... To be honest, I have never like the your bumper..the m-power looks like ____...sorry, but since your going with the real m3 bumper..go fig its the cheapest route...

 

I think the fig would look better than any oem grill

Or...you could keep the bumper you have right now..... paint your new one Flint Mica......and give it to me. I won't even mind which grille you wanna put in it. I'm not picky...

I kinka like the OEM grille in there. If you want an 08 you can get mine.

 

i have seen someone on here making a badgeless 08 grill, that would look sick, i would sef do an 08 or custom due to the fact that the 05-07 has that chrome ring and your car is black and clean!!!, that ring would make it stand out too much, also take a look at the five axis they are thinking about coming out with, looks sick with how deep it sits in

fig grills and powder coat them black if you don't order them like that already. the OEM grills have to be molded on to fit and stay there if not they will fly towards the radiator and then to the ground and goodbye grills

 

what ever you decide... go black... not bling. there is nothing bling about your car other then maybe the stereo... and i would say a 05-07 stock, minus the chrome and the badge. and something custom for the bottom... or maybe try to get a factory m3 grill to fit in there?
