Default PICS: VRD Stock vs. Nokya Hyper Yellows

Hey guys,

Here are comparison shots I took while I was installing the Nokya H3 Hyper Yellow Bulbs vs the stock white bulbs that came with the kit.

http://www.nokyausa.com/hy/hy7615.htm

There's a time lapse between when I took these shots. I rode with the stocks for a while till I got the Nokya's in so if you're wondering why the lighting changes, it's not because I took days to install it.

Left Light - Stock VRD Bulb (this bulb shines about the same as your STOCK headlights).

Right Light - Nokya H3 Hyper Yellow (deep yellow tone)

Closeup of the Nokya

Overhead Shot (yes I know it's offset, this was during the installation so housing was out of the bumper.

Outview shot (gives you an idea of the difference in tone. I have stock headlight housing/bulbs). The lighting was a bit off just because it was just before it got super cloudy and started to pour.

BEFORE (taken during the first install of the fogs):

AFTER (taken with both Nokya bulbs installed).

Sorry bout the quality of the shots, I'm not a photographer by any means, but it should give you guys an idea of what you're getting. The flash was screwing around with the color a lot so I tried to get the best shots I could.

For anyone that's wondering, I did grow attached to the stock lighting just because it matched on all four of the bulbs (headlights and fogs)... The Nokya's give it a nice look, but the visibility does go down somewhat and not nearly as bright as the stocks.

If you have any questions let me know.

Later on I'll go HID but the initial mod was just to do the fogs. I put up the pics so mainly people could see the difference between the stock lights and the yellow halogens.

looks good.. but i dont get it... why would u need hid's in the fogs? its yellow already for 30 dollars.. why would u buy a hid kit for 150?

i would just get a yellow overlay vinyl so it will be yellow even in daytime when your lights are off

The stock VRD's do not have HID's. Not sure if the pic above of SengTC3's setup is HID or not.

Also when you say vinyl I'm assuming you mean the overlays? I think BlueBatMobile sells those but I don't have those installed on mine.

Here is the stock setup (no vinyls).

If no one posts any up, I'll take some night shots with it on.

I would have to say yes. I've been told that the lifetime on these Nokya H3's aren't that great either but for my setup, non HID is fine at the moment.
