Default plate question

Does anyone know where I can find (if it even exists) a license plate bracket for the tC? Like this, but for the tC (if not, is there one out there that will fit on a tC nicely?) Thanks.

what exactly are you trying to do? I'm assuming mount the license plate somewhere else?

Ptuning has a bracket that mounts where the tow hook goes..only thing that bugs me about it (aside from the price) Is the fact that it sticks pretty far out

i would just cut out a piece of cardboard to fit between the plate and the paint so that it doesnt rub off. but thats just me, im cheap. haha. or you can use a piece of foam or rubber so it doesnt get messed up when it rains or w.e.

The plate shouldn't be doing anything to your paint. And I really don't think there would be a holder like the one you pictured for the tC... b/c a) it looks awful and b) it is already flat enough there to not need a holder.

Those things you're picturing are for vehicles with odd bumpers that don't have a good mounting spot.

However... if you want something different, check PTuning's bracket. It isn't cheap, but if there are no holes in your bumper and you want to keep it that way and run a front plate - its the way to go:

If you dont want to just have it on top of the paint, buy some longer bolts and put a spacer behind the plate and mount it that way. Keeps it away from the paint, without the ugly plastic holder in the back, and you don't have the two holes still there with the ptuning bracket.

thanks guys. but i dont really care for the ptuning bracket (i like it centered) and i already have holesdrilled in the bumper from the dealer so i'm concerned with getting the grill (808 customs) type. im simply looking out there to see if theres any kind of holder for the tc. i dont think they look ugly. do anyone thin its possible to assemble one myself? Thanks again

That thing will scratch your bumper too, that looks exactly like the ones that come on the 1st gen neon. I had one and too it off and the paint was scratched underneath it.

so lemme get this straight...

you dont want to mess up your bumper with the license plate.
yet your willing to put a plastic bracket in the same spot.

illogical.
