stock clamp is fine. the tc also has bumper things you can unscrew and give the hood a tighter fit. $640 seems to be as good as it gets. your looking at $$$ + $180 shipping about....
i hope you saw the hood on the car. i think it's quite corny.

i know some companies ship hoods for $70. shipping companies that is....
i dont know why they don't just go with them. i guess they are making money on that...

VIS has one of the best reputations in the CF world.. along with Seibon.

but.. yea.... they are slightly expensive.

other great hoods are bBist, motor-fx,

and the crazy expensive Kaminari that's reverse cowled.

get what you want. and don't listen to chris... learn to ignore him..

 

My Motor-Fx hood's clear coat seems to be crapping out on me around the edges. If I were to do it again (which I mayl), I'd pony up the extra cash and go VIS or Seibon.
