remember, it is a LIKE OEM spoiler painted and shipped for $110. these are applied viea double sided tape that holds very well! i've had mine for nearly two years now and the paint looks great and the tape hasn't budged.

imho, the oem style has a nice subtle and classy feel to it...the pedestal on the other hand is big and chunky and looks awful.
awesome! I think that is definitely the one I will go with then! thanks man!

It helps aid in aerodynamics plus if it really didnt do anything Im pretty sure Chris Rado wouldnt put one on his car.
There is a huge difference between Chris Rado's car and, say, the car of anyone posting in this thread. Like I said before, you need a rear spoiler in a front wheel drive car only if you're going fast enough that you need to keep the back end from flying away, otherwise it's just pushing down on the rear wheels... which pushes up and takes away grip from the front (drive) wheels. Which is, y'know, a bad thing.

His name is Jeremy Clarkson, and he hosts a show called Top Gear, which is arguably the best motoring show ever made. And yeah, Carbon has him as his avatar, too. Here's a clip from TG (it's where Carbon's picture is from, too): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WaWoo82zNUA

The Kaminari that's on the PTuning (RIP) car and the ones on the Scion cars at the Toyota Legends race make them look pretty sweet, there's no denying that.

I am not a fan of the Ped Spoiler. BUT it can be pulled off with the right offsetted rims and body/lip kit.
I personally like the OEM Lip...

It gives the tC a nice, clean look IMHO.

The only good ped spoiler for our car is the Kaminari.........same basic cost as the stock spoiler.......

Had I known ther was a good aftermarket spoiler out there I would of not gotten my ped spoiler when I bought the car.

Since you do not have any spoiler you have lots of great options.

the OEM lip spoiler is an awesome spoiler also there is the one sold on Racing Solutions that looks like the Infinity spoiler.....very nice.

I am trying to find a person with SCM that has no spoiler to trade me for mine so I can get the Kaminari wing for mine.....either that or got a body shop and have them remove mine and weld the holes closed and repaint my hatch.

So my vote is no pedistle spoiler unless you are dead sure on it as it gets spendy to change your mind.....

Oh yea dont forget to remove that sticker you have on the left side of your hatch. You know the sticker that shows where you bought your ride!

oh yeah, I've only had the car a few weeks... still have temp tags on it. I am going to peel the sticker off the hatch that says where I bought it, along with the tC emblem on the back!

Dude, I actually left a dealership when I was trying to get my tC because the salesman wouldn't stop hounding me about getting the pedestal spoiler for "resale value" and "looks". Why do dealerships have such hardons for them?

Because they make their monies on the accessories and not the car. And Ped Spoliers are one of the more expensive accessories.

I was gonna say go with the OEM lip spoiler but that M3 lip spoiler looks pretty nice as well. I dont really like how thwe ends of the OEM spoiler come down onto the rear of the hatch but still better than the pedestal spoiler. Although i have seen a few rides that can pull off the pedestal spoiler well.

I really like the m3 spoiler now that i see it. Now I'm thinking about getting it. $65 painted is a good deal.
