I'm lookin to get 6000k on my 08 bsp so i want to see wat they look like once installed to be completely sure. I also want to know where some of you placed the ballasts. Feel free to post price and where the HID's were bought. :D

 

i put 8000k in my friend's 08 and they came out really nice. looks like 6000

 

i dont understand how 8000k can loook like 6000k but w/e.

My friend has HID kit from mobile hid, but hes got the 5k.

 

These look awesome. Is there alot of blue in em or is it mostly white? Where'd you put the ballasts?

Yea imma go with 6000k. Those are some nice rims, do they come in silver or chrome?

 

Here is a picture of mine withthe 6000k on an 08.I mounted the ballasts tothe radiator pillar under my Doc I radiator plate.the kit is the one from Mobile HID....came with mounting brackets,harness,and a tshirt thatsaid because halogens suck............

they are very bright but the projectors do a pretty good job of keeping them from being glaring...........flat cutoff line about 30 inches off the ground too so it does not blind oncoming traffic.........probably the best mod I have done to the car this fall.......

I hear the Oznium kit is good too.........I buy all my LEDs and cathodes from them and soon my underglow kit......hopefuly for xmas.......

 

Yea i have 6000k hids and love them. Got them from cliffud here on scion life. Check em, you won't be dissapointed.

Here are my HID's on my 08. Got them off MobileHID. Great light output.

 

in the picture the light comes out blue but its actually more white. on the drivers side i put the ballast under the battery. on the passenger side i put the ballast i think on a metal bar that was running across the engine bay. I used double sided tape.

 

6K... my balasts are mounted with 3m molding tape... i got it at advance autoparts.

 

looks great and these are the 6000k?
