I'm in the market for a backup cam. I was hoping a few people could post up a pic or two showing where you placed it. Also, I would like to hear what you think about the camera itself. Thanks for the help!

why would u need a back up cam? ur not driving a semi or a RV. just look behind you and its a small car. it shouldnt be that hard lol

It isn't really a "lazy" thing.

If it could be beneficial one day, why not? Besides, haing 20% tint makes it a little difficult to see at night.. But all in all, it's just to have it lol ;)

 

Well not too many people are going to have a rear camera on a tC. So I doubt you will get that many pics.

 

he asked for pictures of the camera.. not your opinion as to if you like the camera or not.

 

its stupid lol we have the back window the size of alaska and our trunk extends like 7-9 inches of where u cant see so its not hard lol please dont do it.

 

a backup cam would aid those who are slammed from backing up into parking blocks, etc

unecessary? yes, but then again, how many of the mods we do are really "necessary?

i say do it if you really plan on using it!

I like the opinions.. But as to "stupid", I would disagree. A spoiler as high as a ladder is "stupid", a carbon fiber hood on a stock tc is "stupid".. A back up camera that does serve a purpose whether you NEED it or not, isn't that "stupid"..

Think I'm going to get the license plate camera and wire it through the trunk..

How is a carbon fiber hood on a stock tc stupid? Maybe thats their first choice of modifications? Maybe they have plans that are made by Topsy Kret. Or they enjoy the look of a CF hood. So by stating a cf hood on a stock tc is stupid, is just as stupid. Case closed.

Angel wings are stupid but some people have uses for them. And yes Wings on tcs have been proven to help*.


*These tcs are not stock lol.

 

geez to much haters, just let people do what they want on their car.. and yes back camera is still useful but not that you cant live without it.. i really wouldnt mind having one, just not my priority
