Manufacturers from China (vis, seibon) don't use DUPONT UV coating for their hoods. Thus, the UV sun rays will yellow it faster than anything.

 

so what company has the best? I was thinking of getting a Kaminari.

 

 

how is the fitment on that Kaminari? Does it turn yellow?

 

I had it sprayed with three coats of clear when I got it a year ago and it is not turning yellow at all... even in the AZ sun. The fitment is PERFECT.

Don't know exactly. I had it put on with the kit. It shouldn't be to much.

 

TRD Supercharger for sure man!! For only 2 grand...it's definitely worth it!! Plus you get the warranty on it, unlike a turbocharger...

Did you pain the edges of that carbon fiber hood, or did it come like that? I want to get myself one of those hood badly.

 

DeftRacing.com hoods already come with 4 coats of DUPONT UV clear sdtandard. All materials are US made.

 

yeah my car is out in the sun everyday so getting shade isn't easy but if i get it sanded down and new clear coat will it look black again?

 

if you mean the kaminari then that's not painted, it just has that stripe cause most of the hoods have bad looking edges so that basically covers any mistakes on the edges all around.

 

the price for the vented hood is good, i gotta buy one soon but can you get a pic of the hatch?

I like the Kaminari Kit, but if I ever get a body kit in the future it'll be the Buddy Club 2. I like the chubby look to it. If not, then it'll be the Kaminari Kit.

Eh if i go CF anything, the top is getting PAINTED!!! ill show that its CF when its open, but closed, it needs to look factory.

Sorry im really not a fan of the whole "its CF so ive gotta show it off" look alot of people love. Its more understated when people have to ask with the hood closed to me
