It's painted....I used Dupli-Color high-heat ceramic flat black...scuffed the heat shield, did maybe 4-5 coats until it was covered...let it dry for 2 hours, then reinstalled....engine heat did the rest :D

What turbo kit is that? Is that also a custom header?

BTW........Nice clean setup. You should be able to toast Preludes.

plastic radiator diversion is on ebay. i had it on my car, but it would warp after i drove the car, the turbo put off too much heat and that plastic changes shape too easily. you probably wont find a nautical blue rattle can, go find a guy that does touch up paint and have them spray it out for you. Thats probably your best bet.

To all the folks with the DC bar, is the engine cover pretty much stuck there? I'm looking to go with the racing solution CF engine cover, but it's on order until the end of the month and I just ordered my DC bar. Will I be able to swap covers without scratching the heck out of the new cover, or will the bar have to be uninstalled and redone?

If I remove the stock cover, then install the bar, will I be able to get the CF one on when the time comes?

Thanks in advance...

it makes it alot easier if you take the bar loose from one end for sure. You can do it without taking the bar out though. I have done both.

Thanks for the compliments.

I got it done in the mall. I had it airbrushed and then had him spray 2 clearcoats on top.
