I havent done much, I still need to fix some things and paint my vvti cover.. but so far..

Also, on the left side of the engine, is an aluminum tube that goes to the front of the radiator with a cap in gray that has an "H" on it.. is that safe to wrap? I have it wrapped in these pictures and Ive seen people wrap it.. but doesnt the H stand for hot?

***UPDATED*** I have to redo the header cover.. as I put it on I made some smudge marks and it got too late to take it off and repaint. I'll fix it next weekend.. for now it's got some bad spray circles.. =(

Is that one light at the top of your radiator that is illuminating on the sides and in the back??

 

any closeups on the engine bay lighting? did you use cathodes or something else?

that's something i've been wanting to do for a while.

 

cathodes and there is a total of 6 tubes in the bay and grilles

 

where did you get the cathodes from?
What did you do to them/the transformers to waterproof them?
How were they mounted?
what size where the cathodes?

my buddy orders the cathodes, they're cheap you can find them about anywhere

i did nothing to waterproof them and ive yet to lose any

boxes are mounted under each headlight, and 1 behind the battery, tubes are mounted with zipties, im alittle picky about not seeing the tubes so it took awhile the only tubes you can see are the side ones and thats only when your standing on the opposite side.

and i think they're 6 or 8'' tubes, they're bright as hell and get brighter as they get warmer so being in the engine bay they really shine
