youre right. honda guys out grew loud/flashy mods in the 90's for a much cleaner look. same with VW and 240sx guys.

aside form the K20 motor swap & RHD, the top engine bay shot (not the camo valve cover pic) has been shaved extensively (wires tucked, plumbing re-routed out of view, holes plugged up, etc). this is definitely an extreme case of shaving.

You forgot your capitals and a period. Before you try and burn, correct yourself first. And my grammar is corrected. Now, back to SCION engine bays please?

sorry having a ____ty day. And I think the Honda bays were a nice touch to see what else is going on. If you want to see some very clean bays go over to the VWvortex.

Oh thank goodness!! I thought I was the only one that had this problem. I cut out a huge part of that burned area and beyond, took that heat shield off, then I used JB Weld to attach some leftover turbo heat wrap to the opposite side. It worked pretty well, but you have to cut a pretty big area so the edges don't burn. It did work for protecting the hood from the heat though, as well as stopping the burning under the hood.

I can't even explain how sick I am of reading "my turbo company this" and "your turbo company that" posts. So I won't read them anymore. I'll split them or delete them if they're off topic in other threads (like this one). End of story.

Anyone know where I can buy a painted Engine cover, or where to buy the paint to DIY because Im trying to do everything blue on my engine bay and If I can find a pre-painted one, it would be much better

Believe it or not, its already heat coated.

It doesn't really bother me too much. If thats the only problem with the kit then Im more than happy with it.
