i wish ceramic coats could be done in gloss colors, but oh well, looks a lot better then before.

 

Plans on painting valve cover and fuse box cover this up coming weekend...
going for a cow theme i do believe. haha something different i guess

Yeah I love this kit.. and keeping the grill on is awesome cuz most people think I just have an exhaust and rims..

 

No he stopped powder coating awhile ago, it was too much work.

 

what size are the screws that hold the engine cover onto the valve cover? i got a valve cover but doesnt have the screws on it...

LUc1fer NICEE thats exactly wat i wanted to do to mine. how long did it take u? what paint did u use?

 

an hour to take off the header (i did it at 1am with just the lights of my inferno kit lol) then in the morning i painted it, i used VHT flame proof header paint (bought at advanced auto parts)

per can:
one light coat
wait 10 minutes
another light coat
wait 10 minutes
another WET coat
dries in an hour
can handle in 3 hours

then you can bake it in an oven or on the car (i did the car method)

install header
idle for 10 minutes
let car cool for 20
idle for 20
cool for 20
drive normally for 30
cool for 20

its done.

real easy and forgiving paint.

can was like $9 and worth every penny. im look for more random parts to coat lol.

 

your missing a header bolt luci.....haha just messing with ya, looks clean, which header is that

 

yeah i stripped the stud >.< gotta figure out how to get it out now.

and its Megan... DONT BUY IT! rice and rasp.

 

i have a megan header too UGH lol watever now im definatly gonna do this jus taking the header off is a PITA lmfao thanx bro

 

getting it off is a lot easier then putting it on! lol.
