I always thought about doing this, but what do you guys think about it "ruining" its originality/authenticity?

flipmoob what did you use to make it shine like that? i dig it! just curious...i know its OT but do any of you guys lose power with the arc box? i have the randode adapter and a check engine light because of it. when i punch it, i feel like i lose alot of power.

Power, no. Torque, yes. It sucks ***** going up a hill/grade. lol Yes, the CEL is P0101. It's nothing though. The air readings the ECU is getting are skewed because the adapter adds some height to the MAF, so it's not centered as if it sat flush on the mounting points on the box. I get pretty instantaneous "power" when I step on it. Much improved over stock. I also like the MPG this thing gives me. I average about 43mpg on my trips between SoCal and NorCal.

And no, I didn't polish it. Too lazy. lol

I don't take pics because nothing is new on the car. It's been 2 years and it's the exact same. haha It's basically just a stock tC. No one wants to see a stock tC. lol

I don't want to lower it more. I'm too poor to fix it if anything happens. I like my oil pan, axles, and cv boots the way they are. lol Plus, I want to start tracking the car. I need suspension travel for that.

 

ive ploished mine with the same stuff works great looks good. i love my arc but it doesnt get the attention it deserves lol

 

Ive never seen an arc box before, what does it do/what is it for?

i like mine too, so i broke all the old ones and replaced it with new ones!

 

the ARC box is just another intake for the tC. its basically a short ram intake...doesnt add any power, just looks real cool.
