Follow the Anzo guide I posted. The reverse bulb stays in the socket and plugs into it's spot in the housing, the turn signal and brake bulbs are removed from your OEM harness so they can be plugged into the connectors for the LED setup.

 

I liked my blacked out too but two tickets and 1 warning and i changed lights

 

what?? what state u live in? i been pulled over alot in my life but never got a ticket for blacked out tails, maybe for blacked out headlights i'd understand but not for tails, the cop had nothing better to do i guess...

 

FL and it was State Trooper ...... They said they could not see me.properly........ But like you said ,they had nothing else to do.

I paid $134 for my TYCs... Still need to contact Bat to get some overlays.. Not sure if I want smoked, or to just cover the amber to red.. What you think bat?

 

Is it possible to completely red out these tailights?

 

You could check with bat (Blue Batmobile - 3 posts above yours) to see if he has red overlays.....

Or, you could spray them with Niteshades RedOut....

Thanks for the heads up about Niteshades red out spray. I hadn't even thought about that. I don't know if i'll be going that direction since it looks like a huge pain if I ever wanted to remove it. I was looking around on bluebats photobucket and I didn't see any red out films. Only smoked ones.

Two coats of VHT nightshade and about 5 layers of clear.
Polished with McGuire's ultimate compound. Have not yet been wet sanded. Let me know what you guys think!
