just out of curiosity, how much are those homes going for in WA? how big are those? where I live that home would be about 550-650k.
Those are nice looking designed homes with alot of detail....
I ask, im in construction managment and im always intrested in home costs around the country.
And whats wrong with being rich?

u ppl obviously never met a Rich person then

there's a diff. between being well-off/comfortable and being dirt-rich

a HUGE difference

lemme give u an example of a scenario - italy, guy with a ferrari (not the "small" F430) riding in the streets of Ancona - port city - dirt rich dude huh?

wrong. guess what he took her out once a month cos of gigantic gas prices he could only afford gas once a month

These homes are going from the low 900s to up and around a million for some of the "better equipped" ones. This development however is about 20 minutes out from the central part of the area (Bellevue-Seattle). Now the interesting thing about the pricing on these is that they are relatively "cheap" in comparison to an identical development where the homes (same developer mind you) are going from 1.3-1.6 mil solely based on the centrality of their location (i.e. they are about 10 mins closer to)In the end my parents decided it was worth the extra 10 minute commute to pay about 350-500k less for the house.

Of course this is true with any city, but the housing market around here is just insane and you really have to start paying a premium (more so then elsewhere) to live more centrally in the area.
