Can you do me a favor? before you change both can you put the Nokya in one and leave the regular VRD on in the other. Turn them on, Take a pic and post it? I'm curious as to what the difference is.

 

yeah i can, but i didnt buy my VRD's with the yellow bulbs, i got the normal white bulbs and the blue bulbs (which i havent opened).

LEDs as in LED bulbs or like a few LEDs in the same place the fogs are. A lot of people do the LED fog light thing at home as a DIY.

Hey ExpresScion and sky_on what bulbs are you using in your fogs? I want yellow bulbs (non-HID and no overlay) for my OEM fogs and am leaning towards Nokya (since they're 2500K, lowest I've seen, with an upgraded harness cuz Nokya burn up stock harnesses). Thanks, both look real good.

 

i just have the yellow bulbs that came with the VRDs, they're made by a company called Kobo; I kinda think its more of a faded yellow, I'll probably change out to Nokyas; although I've heard good things about Halos too

 

I have some cheap Ebay bulbs. I had them on my old car, and they are really bright and I love the deep yellow color. No problems so far.

 

i have those in mine. they're pretty nice.

 

I actually was able to take a color accurate pic. Who knew my phone could make out the colors of the lights right.

i put in the Nokya 2500k bulbs a few days ago, they look great. i'll put up some pics soon as i snap some night/dusk shots

 

Thoes Nokyas are a lot brighter... do you have to swap out the harness for thoes cuz that one guy up there somewhere said they burn harnesses... is that just true for the oem fogs?

 

I wouldn't doubt it. Says they're 70 watt bulbs. I think the harness is ment for what? 50?

 

they are not 70 watt bulbs, thats what the package says. take the bulbs out and flip em around, it says 55W on the backside just like the VRDs.
