Default Problem Installing Carbon Fiber Eyelids

I'm trying to install some carbon fiber eyelids (the real ones - not the thin vinyl overlay) and they aren't going on correctly because the thickness of them is making it all uneven. I tried spraying it down with soapy water and I got them in the correct position but I can't get them to smooth out.. what should I do?

Here's some pics:

you have to do some cutting.. some trial and error.. then you're all good. took me literally 2 hours to put mine on.

ahh, i remember someone posting some problems they had with those cf eyelids from showstoppers. he found out later that they use a template that isn't really accurate.

are yours from showstoppersusa.com? or somewhere else cuz these CF eyelids look tight on the BSP tC.

I just installed the sportline cf eyelids, they look great, but there are a few wrinkles on the bottom. Anyone know how to smooth those out?
