I am looking to get my tail light tinted professionally. I don't want it DARK at ALL, just want a nice smoked shade. I had the 30% vinyl overlays from HeadlightArmor.com and it was too dark for my tastes. I may want to go for a 50% look. If you have a picture that might be what I am looking for, PLEASE post it. So, where do you recommend I do it? Jon's Tinted Tails?

 

there are a TON of people on here that you could ship a set of tails to, and they would do flawless work and send them right back for a great price, thats what i did.... there are lots of posts on here...

 

Yea, I considered FLEA for the job, but it's hard to trust people to do a flawless job. I like my stuff top notch.

 

That's the look I want pretty much. Not sure if I want it a little darker or a little lighter.

Lighter or darker? I am still trying to find a picture or someone around here that has tails tinted a certain way that you might like. It's hard to just look at a picture and say "that's what I want!", I prefer to see some tails in person and then make a decision how light or dark I want it. Either way whatever you choose, post pictures when you get them!

 

 

Looks good, but its a tad bit too dark. I like the one of Reese`s car I posted above. I think I will have Jon`s Tinted Tails do it. They any good?

 

dude...im in the same boat...but i got the 08 lights, and im wondering what is too dark

 

I would keep the 2008 tail light as it is. If I had them that is.

Any body shop should be able to do them no problem.

Not blacked out, but I like 'em, they're dark enough for me...
