looks great, i plan to get my car painted by ross in late july/early august by him as well.

color will be a secret, but damn, good too know i will be in good hands.

now i am sure that is a b!tch to clean, my wheels are flat black, and its impossible to keep the dirt off of them.

the paint looks great. I dont like the black rims w/ black paint, but thats just me. Once again, sweet ride.

is that kind of paint job called matte?

 

matte = satin = flat

from my understanding

 

i think matte and flat are almost the same. but satin has a lil bit of shine on it. I think it depends on how much of the "flat" clearcoat you add to the paint.

i'm not sure what mine is.. since it's a custom blend of flat clearcoat that only ross knows.

and yes.. it's a clearcoat.. it sprays on shiny.. but it dry's to a dull flat.

I think it would look even better if you wouldve used the standard cf hood as opposed to the kevlar. kevlar has a yellow tint which normal cf may match the other colors on the car better.

I'd get rid of the ____ing decals on the rear windows there. I know you're trying to show off who did the work and all, but it ruins the look of the car.

 

what did that cost you? and did he throw a flat clear on it as well?
