i just dont understand. JUST cause there made you HAVE to buy them? you buy projectors for a reason.. which these projectors cant provide. and WTF 8000k? projectors get there color from the projector, not the bulb. your making your color.. which is wrong. projectors are suppposed to be high quality performance and style... its about as bad as ford w/ a 4 banger in there mustang.. same concept. people wanted to say they had a mustang, but didnt want to pay the price for it..

bottom line, your gonna glare the crap out of people.. and most likely get a ticket w/ that "sub-par" setup(at least in WI you would).

Really not sure why you spend the time to pick through every single thread on this site with these projectors and put down the person who installed them...telling them how lame and crappy they look and how much you hate how people have them....don't you have anything better to do...?

You might want to rethink what you just stated.

Not trying to flame you, but that doesnt sound right. The Lense reflects/refracts the light given from the BULBS lumens output. The lense has no color, but gives off the lumens of the bulbs strength. A higher Lumen like 12000K has a purplish color and is weaker than like a 4300K - 6000K color which is from clear white to a more blue respectively. A lower Lumen bulb like 3000K will give you a yellowish color. The lense has nothing to do with the color other than refecting/refracting the output of the BULB.

Also if you ever get a chance to look at an actual lense of the projector, they are circular cuts (laser etched) that give that special refraction.. More higher end lenses will has special individual cuts in the lense, like you see on BMW's and the like.

after changing the top parking light bulb to ultrawhite, the orange turn signal bulb to the chrome pilot that lights orange, and changing the low/high beams to ultrawhite, the lights look 100% better. and also, they're not blinding to oncoming traffic. A friend and I swapped vehicles and made a run pass each other.... not blinding at all.

well i dissagree.. i dont know how exactly the color is made, but it does have to do w/ the lense, sheild and bowl. so yes, it is made w/ the whole projector.. the bulb can alter a little the color. im 100% talking about cutoff BTW.. not what lays on the road (obviously thats common sense). people like the cutoff and color at cutoff.. so im guessing u thought i was talking about output, not cutoff.. as i wasnt too clear on that.

BTW, im not talking $hit to run my mouth, i've done a few retro's.. soley for output as my old Grand am had crappy stock output.. so HID projectors was the way to fix that..
