Nifty. I'd get one if I had to run front plates.

Man you have no idea how long i've been waiting for something like this. I actually was trying to custom modify the oem tow hook but decided it was too much work. I ended up getting a ticket for no front plate but found a way to cleanly install my plates to the 05-07 bottom grill with long bolts, washers, and nuts so that I didn't have to resort to drilling holes in my bumper. But taking the whole assembly off and on for photos or meets are kind of a chore (i'm super lazy) plus the bottom of the plate rubs on my lip giving me light scratches (too lazy to put a pad in between)

My friend with a G35 also has a license plate holder that utilized the tow hook location, when I saw that I was instantly jealous... man texas and their front plate laws.

Just placed my order.

For us California folks out there, when our car is parked, do we have to have our plate present in front?

Not sure about CA license plate law, but most states that require front plate...you must have a front license plate on at all time.

You probably can get this information through your local department of vehicle.

I always thought it only applied while driving, you know like the same law for underbody lighting. Don't think I could get it though, people out here in Cali will steal my plate off in a heartbeat.

But anyways, this does look very very awesome. I'm very surprised it wasn't thought of earlier.
