Purplish Hue HIDs (Help)
I have a friend who has a set of Bluish/white HIDs and he is going to give them to me because I love that look.. He is looking for the purplish HID, he said we could trade if I could find him a set. His blue set is bearly even used still looks new, I know I could just go buy a set for myself but Im trying to get a win - win situation for him and I.
My question to you all is where can I get a cheap set or even a used set of purple HIDs. I am also not caring if the used set if out of another vehicle as long as they are working. Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Go with 6K - anything above 6 or 8K is going to be so dim you might as well stick with halogen. Sorry for you 12K guys, but fact is fact and truth is truth - all those higher Kelvin bulbs yield a LOWER lumen output.
I have 6K on my car (see the pic below, my fogs were 6K when the pic was taken, low beams were 8K) and I love them. I have since converted the lowbeams to 6K, too.
We are offering the kits for $260+shipping as a holiday special, they're normally $275.
This is a little more expensive than all the crap HID kits out there (not naming names), but at least you know your friend won't come back and give you trouble about giving him junk. Plus, with a lifetime warranty, you never have to deal with a tradeback ;)
